Principal Paul Shikhvarger, a Graduate Gemologist of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), adheres to the highest professional and ethical standards that are used by the ASA (American Society of Appraisers), the USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices), and the NAJA (National Association of Jewelry Appraisers), of which he is a Member Appraiser.
Pacific Jewelry & Watches owner Paul Shikhvarger turned his passion for watches and jewelry into an enjoyable career and a thriving business. He first hones his craft by apprenticing under expert European watchmakers for several years, before studying at the GIA. Prior to launching his own business in the Jewelry District of Los Angeles in 2006, he worked for an online jewelry business evaluating watches and jewelry. As his reputation grew, and his clientele expanded to include many residents of Los Angeles, Paul moved his main office to the Brentwood area, where he enjoys working in a dynamic, family-friendly community.

I would recommend Pacific Jewelry & Watches to anybody looking to sell their jewelry. I brought in a few vintage pieces that I had been meaning to clear out of my jewelry box and got a very fair price for all of it. If you have jewelry to sell don’t hesitate or go anywhere else. Paul is the most fair and honest buyer I have found.

I had a wonderful experience getting my jewelry appraised. He was genuine, honest and was happy to answer any of my questions. I didn't feel any pressure to sell items I was attached to and I really appreciated that as that was a major concern of mine when looking for an appraiser.
